THOUGHTS:
Solid, tightly-directed crime thriller. Had some great sequences and visuals, but some plot contrivances (Renner as overly sociopathic, fly-off-the-handle co-conspirator) felt too familiar, while others (hostage who falls for her hostage-taker) were too unbelievable. But good performances and direction made it a cut above, for sure.
