THOUGHTS:

A breezy, insightful romantic comedy that feels like something Woody Allen might’ve made before he ran out of ideas and succumbed to misanthropy. Greta Gerwig is utterly delightful, as always, and carries the movie with ease and quirky grace, but Ethan Hawke and an often hysterical Julianne Moore more than hold up their end. Saw the ending coming a mile away, but that didn’t detract from the pleasure of watching it come to fruition.
