THOUGHTS:

Reminded me of Rescue Dawn, a harrowing story about someone stuck in a violent political situation and managing to escape. The actual sequence with the Killing Fields was horrifying, as were the scenes in which children, brainwashed by the regime, held the fate of civilians lives in their hands.

For me the movie was a genuine education. It instantly had me reading more about the turmoil in Cambodia at that time.
